The M40X Chassis Founder's Edition is the inaugural release from Speedline Sports. Allocation is strictly limited to 500 units globally — a number dictated not by marketing, but by the quantity of aerospace-grade Toray M40X carbon fiber we secured for this production run.
When the allocation is gone, it is gone.
Why 500 Units
Toray M40X is a restricted material. It is manufactured for aerospace, defense, and Formula 1 applications, and is not commercially available in the volumes required for mass-market sporting goods.
Our supply agreement allows for the production of exactly 500 Founder's Edition chassis. Every unit will be:
- Individually numbered (001 through 500)
- Certified with a signed material provenance card
- Paired with a Speedline protective sleeve
- Warranty-registered to the original allocation holder
Drop 002 and subsequent releases will exist. They will use different materials, different layups, and different production runs. There will only ever be 500 Founder's Edition M40X Chassis paddles.

What does it cost?
$280 USD per chassis, shipped free within the United States. International shipping quoted at checkout.
Can I pre-order without the waitlist?
No. Drop 001 is waitlist-exclusive for the first 48 hours. Any remaining allocation after the priority window will be released to the general public, but we do not expect inventory to remain at that point.
What if I miss Drop 001?
You will have the option to move to the Drop 002 waitlist. Drop 002 will feature different materials and is not a Founder's Edition.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every Founder's Edition chassis includes a 12-month structural warranty against manufacturing defect, registered to the original allocation holder.
Who is behind Speedline Sports?
Speedline Sports has engineered high-performance cycling equipment for 35 years. The M40X Chassis is our first entry into the pickleball category, applying the same material science and monocoque construction principles we use in professional racing hardware.
Is the M40X Chassis USAPA-approved?
The paddle is engineered within USAPA specifications and will be submitted for official certification once the production prototype is approved. Waitlist members will be notified of certification status directly.
